Oh, Oh Canada

Since today is Canada Day, it is time to pull out a record favorite. From the late-60’s or early-70’s, this satire album sings about scandals and that that were going on in Canada in that time (such as the FLQ and the debate over the “new flag” which we now know as the red-and-white Maple leaf).

Of course it’s funny what is written at the bottom of the record album. It says:

“CAUTION RADIO STATION MANAGERS! If you do not want your radio station turned into a parking lot over night, make sure that your staff do NOT play the following on the air! OH! HOW THE MONEY ROLLS IN, FOXY, and (naturally) THE PILL.” (That’s most of Side 2 as the only track from that side not mentioned was the first track THE F.L.Q MARCH.). (Also I didn’t do these transfers).
