Pete Fountain is one artist that I've heard a few times but never picked up any of his records. The only one I own was a gift I received back in the 1970s. The title track uses the same arrangement (with a N'Awlins touch) as a certain trumpet player we know around these parts...

The album dates to 1966. I've been meaning to pick up a better copy, as mine is a bit played out.

I remember back in the earliest days of our music store we used to stock a couple of 8-tracks of him. That's about all the connection I have.
