A forum member who shall remain nameless has created and posted about a Karen Carpenter CD containing the unauthorized recordings that he has altered and is attempting to sell.

This practice violates the rules here at A&M Corner and will not be tolerated. These unauthorized recordings have been floating around the Internet for a decade and a half at this point, and it has never been our policy to promote them. Yet we understand that they are tempting to share with fellow fans. And it is understood that casual surfing on the Internet could lead one to "discover" this "miracle CD" and then hastily run here to post about it.

But be warned. We will not tolerate piracy. This CD is a clear case of piracy. The creator does NOT own the recordings no matter how they were altered. If you have stuff that you want to trade, use private conversations to keep it off of the public forum.

There have already been several cases of individuals reposting the link to this CD and they have been deleted. Please do not post that link again. We certainly don't like to ban people from the forum, but we can and will if this practice is not stopped.
