Sharon Sheeley, songwriter from the 50s/60s era has died at 62. One of her biggest hit songs was "Poor Little Fool" by Ricky Nelson. You'll recall that there was an album of her demo songs released last year that had Herb Alpert singing a track called "It's A Good Thing", co-written by Jackie De Shannon. The album's called SHARON SHEELEY: SONGWRITER. Herb must've liked working with her -- he also recorded her "Dreamland" song as Dore Alpert on RCA Records.
