Rare RC appearance

Richard Carpenter will make a rare concert appearance on Sunday, October 6th. He is one of many performers who are celebrating the 50th anniversary of Musical Theatre West. They are the resident theatre company at the Carpenter Center. Richard will be joining performers like Rod McKuen, Pam Dawber, and Betty Garrett. There are over 30 performers in all, so I doubt Richard will on stage for very long. Tickets run from $1,000 to $35.00.

INTERESTING ......I wonder if Richard will perform any new material from the Postponed Christmas set ...possibly an Instrumental for the Fans with two Carpenters Classics for the wider audience ?

Richard seems to prefer guest appearances these days rather than full Concert performances .....David Alley did mention that more concerts would be forthcoming , but more likely in 2003.
