Rita Coolidge's Inside The Fire

I ask about this every couple of years. Why won't Universal release Inside the Fire on CD? They have released so many albums on CD that are old and yet this one seems to escape getting released. I don't like MP3's but at one time, Rita Coolidge's website had the digitized sound files for this album on there for a few years. They never offered them for purchase. I asked them a few times if they would release the files for sale or were they going to release them on CD and was ignored. It was one of her best albums, and her own people won't comment.

It may take someone like Raven Records to do a special release as they have done some combination sets for the lp's by Rita.

Yes, Raven Records put out some great releases, especially of albums that had never been released on CD by anyone else.

Unfortunately, Raven Records went out of business a few years ago but, hopefully, somebody else will take up the baton.

Depends if the masters weren't destroyed in the Universal fire, and there was no other safety or production master located elsewhere in the world they could use.
