Karen was in fine form in 1974 - it wasn’t until late 1975 that things started to go wrong.

The signs and weight loss technically began in late 1974 but got really serious in mid-75.

^^ Agree. On the 1974 Perry Como Christmas Special, there is a scene when she is talking to Como and Santa. From a full length side view, she is as thin as a rail. But she had not yet lost her good looks.
