Most of the time when I hear the Carpenters music it makes me happy. But sometimes is makes me sad. I was just wondering if anyone ever feels like this too. Has anyone ever cried over one of her songs?

I cried when I watched the Karen Carpenter Story!

 Sadly  , nothing Karen sang ever made me want to cry, though one time "Rainy Days & Mondays" came close. "For All We Know" probably should have.

I'm suprised Gayle Caldwell's album, CELEBRATION OF LIFE (A&M SP 4197) never made me want to cry. The way Gayle sings (If you EVER get a chance to HEAR this Rare Obscurity) should bring out the tears in the strong.

Dave :)

 ...Now Playing Jimmie Rodgers' "Father Paul (Without Her)"...my CURRENT tearjerker, right now...
