He must've joined just before the group split -- the classic A&M line up was: Michael Piano, Jim Brady and Richard Shoff. (If you read the credits to A Gift Of Song, their final A&M LP, only James Brady and Michael Piano are credited, indicating Sandpipers were possibly a duo for that LP). He possibly could've been a replacement for Richard Shoff...
