Sergio Mendes & James Bond

I am of an age that I was a teenager in the sixties, and I am certain that I heard at the time of the 60's, a Vocal of the "Spoof" Bond Film "Casino Royale" with the theme originally played by Herb Alpert. The Vocal lyrics apear in the fim and on the soundtrack sung by other artist(s), BUT the version that I heard was a 'standalone' recording sung by Sergio Mendes and Brasil 66.
I did not start admiring and collecting the Sergio Mendes group until 1972 and by then that Film and the themes had fell from fashion and were not given airplay on radio or TV.
I have never again heard their version. I have through the years done many searches, all in vain, and I wonder, is there anyone out there who might know anything about this version/recording ????

I wonder if you are thinking of "The Look Of Love" which was a stand alone version from the movie. I have never heard any other song from Casino Royale by Brasil'66.

The OP seems certain of his age and the time period, otherwise I might suggest a much later non-official Bond movie, NEVER SAY NEVER AGAIN. The theme was recorded by Lani Hall and produced by Herb Alpert and Sergio Mendes.
