I don't know why, but I happened to think about this song today and I remembered the liner notes to Primal Roots, where it said that Sergio's arrangement of "Promessa De Pescador" included only the refrain of the song. For some odd reason I'd never been inspired to search out the WHOLE song, until just now.... here is Dorival Caymmi's version:
