Stewart Copeland, drummer for the Police, recently posted a video to his Facebook page of Karen drumming. Nice to see such an acclaimed drummer acknowledge her skills.
I know she was such a great drummer. A good example of this is the now and then album where she did most of the drumming with the exception of jambalaya which was done by hal blaine. She is the primary reason i want to take up the drums.
I just found Stewart Copeland's Facebook thread and posted to it. I noticed that someone had posted the link to footage from their 1972 concert in Australia, to showcase how well Karen sang and drummed. Someone may have posted the Walter Reed Hospital footage from 1970, but I don't see it, so I posted the link. How wonderful to see someone like Stewart Copeland acknowledging Karen's drumming talent. And, not only him, but many others in his thread now numbering 2,000 comments!
