Stillness CD tracks info

Dear Sergio Mendes’ fans;

Although the album Stillness is as far as my knowlegde is concerned never released on CD, but;

In 1997 LONDON, England I obtained a UK A&M 48 track double CD album,
THE VERY BEST OF SERGIO MENDES AND BRASIL 66 with all the Stillness tracks except CELEBRATION OF THE SUNRISE.
Compiled by Nigel Hunter with a 6 pag booklet & extensive sleevenotes. A&M 540 752-2

Yes, the 48-track VERY BEST OF SERGIO MENDES & BRASIL '66 from the UK remains the only way to get the great bulk of STILLNESS tracks in CD form. As you say, only "Celebration Of The Sunrise" is really missing. The "Stillness" reprise can be replicated by fading up the second verse of the full "Stillness" track. That's what I did when I re-created the album onto my own CD, and I just used the LP for the short. missing instrumental track. Sounds great!

Alas, No. "Celebration of the Sunrise" is still only on vinyl!
