Hey, Man, I'm sorry about your Phonograph! (And my lil' "Rhyme", up above!) 
...Hope whatever money you have to shell-out to get it working will be "Once and For All!"
I wonder how my Techniques seems to be in such immaculate working order after buying it in 1998, but it having probably been built in 1988...??
And except for routine cleaning I USED to do and haven't done for probably about FIVE-YEARS, I can press ANY Button on my CD player (which I bought NEW in '93) and IT WORKS!
Yes, tell Creed Taylor or if he's reading this that we want those A&M/CTi CD-Reissues, Re-Mastered, Unreleased Tracks and All, put out by Next Tuesday!! (The typical 'Release Day' for stuff, right?)
