NOTE: Temple of the Dog was a super group formed by Seattle musicians to pay tribute to Andrew Wood, lead singer of Mother Love Bone. He died of a heroin overdose in 1990. Chris Cornell of Soundgarden initiated the project. He was joined by Matt Cameron, also of Soundgarden. Members of Pearl Jam featured were Stone Gossard, Jeff Ament, Mike McCready and Eddie Vedder. Gossard and Ament were members of Mother Love Bone. The album was largely unnoticed when first released but became a best seller after Soundgarden and Pearl Jam gained notoriety.

TEMPLE OF THE DOG entered the Billboard Top 200 on June 27, 1992. It peaked at #5 and charted for 47 weeks.
Also issued as CD 5350.
