Stereophile contributor Michael Fremer's Analog Planet blog has just announced the picks for the 2014 Gruvy Awards.

I realize a lot of the gear might be out of reach of many here, but some of these are state of the art in analog/vinyl reproduction today. And it's always fun to window shop! Fremer covers everything from turntables and cartridges to record cleaning machines and notable LP releases.
I also want to give a public tip of the hat to "Mikey" for letting me bounce a few ideas off of him while I went about dialing in my turntable rig a couple of months ago. (Anyone following my G+ Black Platters Vinyl Club has seen much of what I've accomplished.)
