This was one album I thoroughly enjoyed. Catchy with pop sensibilities, folky but not too folky and not too country, a perfect and enjoyable blend of music. A&M had several artists around this time that filled this niche (David Wilcox, Wagoneers, etc.), but with Polygram increasingly exercising control, these artists weren't long for the label.
