I saw the Track list for the movie Tommy Boy. I noticed that Supestar was in it with the 1991 remix. Did this song appear in the movie or just on the soundtrack like with Muriel's Wedding

Hi Andrew. In Tommy Boy, Superstar was playing on the car radio during a very funny scene. The two guys in the car hear it come on the radio and start saying things like "Oh how lame" and "You can change it if you want to". It breaks away to completely different scene, then comes back to the guys in the car and they're singing along with the song and crying. A movie worth renting.
