I've only just found out today (from a previous thread on here) about these tracks that Karen recorded when she was only 14...

Has anyone here heard it (and by that I mean Chris May ) and if so, what was it like lyrically and musically?

I think this is one of those tracks that won’t be released until after Richard is dead and his kids are maybe thinking of another way to monetize the Carpenters catalog by releasing tracks that Universal doesn’t own, since, as far as I know, only the one 45 exists, as it was one of those “cut on demand” recordings where the songs were recorded right to 45.

I think this is the 45 where Richard says, ‘Karen would NOT be happy’ if he released it. It’s before her lower voice presented itself.
