What happened to Dave Grant's Carpenters Discography Site?

Hi all.

I noticed that The Carpenters Discography website by a photographer named David Grant is not currently available online. I use to be able to go to it and look at all the info he had about The Carpenters releases, and the site would connect perfectly. Recently however, when I try to go to that site, I get a message saying that the page can't be displayed.

Do any of you know what's going on with that site? Is it permanently or temporarily offline? Is it ever going to come back online?

I had asked a while back. Someone posted the archive address. He is having health issues.

Just a theory -
It's possible that with health issues, he's been unable to renew his domain on the Internet and it has lapsed.

In any case, we wish him well in whatever he's going through.

Was David just a fan who started up a site one day, or did he have an actual connection with them? Also what year did it begin?

David's site has been there since the early 2000s, as far as I can recall. I believe his site was an offshoot of his professional photography business, wasn't it?

Also the last time he updated the site was in 2009-10, as the last album added was the US version of 40/40.
