When Did The Carpenter Family Move Into Newville Ave. ?

I believe that I heard somewhere that the Carpenter family moved into their Newville Avenue home on Thanksgiving Day, 1970. Can anyone confirm this ? THANKS.

Agnes confirmed this in the BBC documentary 'Yesterday Once More', whilst showing the camera crew a tour of the Newville house - loved the plush cherry red carpets and black leather of their soundproofed recording room!

In that clip, you could even see the 'Richard' and 'Karen' chairs (the wooden collapseable ones with their names on them) in the background!
