A few days ago I watched "Brian Boitano Skating Spectacular" at AT&T Park on the net.
Barry Manilow sang "The Way We Were", with Dorothy Hamill and another's skating.
The arrangement was different from Barry's album version. This time with back vocal 'shooby do lang lang(SP?)'!! and his "Old Song".
Barry might check if Carpenters fans noticed the notes, reading this board, and might add the chorus(?)
When I saw Dorothy on American TV site video before, Dorothy might mention she was from CT.
She performed to "Weekend in New England". When Randy Edelman performed at Budokan in 1976, he sang this song with his songs that Carpenters sang.
