Dear Forum members

Is it Tom Scott who played the flute solo at the end of this amazing wonderful song between the minutes 2:14 - 2:30.

I guess so! Correct me if i’am wrong!

A wonderful song, one of my favourite highlights in Sergio’s Brasil ’66 era.

A strong interlude with sweeping strings masterfull arranged by Dave Grusin than Sergio on vocals with Lani and Karen singing their hearts out.

And IMHO one of Sergio’s finests piano solos ever.
A true example whats American-Brazilian crossover sound is all about.

And in fact the oldest song Sergio ever recorded, written by Herb Nacio Brown and Gus Kahn from the 1941 movie ‘The Ziegfield Follies’.

All the best,
Aqua do Brasil
