i'll have to say my absolute favorite documentary on the carpenters i have ever seen is carpenters forever. i love this video! i've watched it twice recently! i love the way it's at richard's new home and it shows him by the pool and in several other rooms including what appears to be his own carpenters library of materials. i love the part where he's listening to an old reel to reel from spectrum days and it hits him hard. i love that part. and i also love the part when he's sitting with his whole family and introducing them and asking them if they'd like to be the next carpenter. i'd forgotten that i'd seen taylor before in this documentary -- when the camera pulls away you can hear richard say she's the one who looks like karen. i just think it's a very personal window into his life and home and into the story. anyone else like it or have another favorite?
