Came up with an alternative MIA track list which I feel would have made a good collection great.

1)Those Good Old Dreams
2)The Uninvited Guest*
3)Back In My Life Again
4)When You've Got What It Takes
5)Kiss Me The Way You Did Last Night
6)At The End Of A Song*
7)Touch Me When We're Dancing
8)When It's Gone
9)Beechwood 45789
10)Rainbow Connection*

*keep in mind that these 3 would feature the duo's overdubbed sound and not the choir.

What d'ya reckon to the line-up fans?

P.S.I left off I Believe You since it was already out there and the public needed something new.

I like it. How about...

Touch Me When We're Dancing
Those Good Old Dreams
Strength of a Woman
Want You Back in My Life Again
Somebody's Been Lying

Where Do I Go From Here?
Ordinary Fool
When It Gone
Kiss Me the Way You Did Last Night
Now

It was great up till....Beechwood 45789...that I feel is the problem with the album...they couldn't let go of that oldies era...it was like going back instead of going forward and not only that...having 1 oldies feel and the rest trying to be a pop album kinda feels off. If that was removed and they recorded one more strong pop song the album could have been a huge hit.

I was actually playing with this idea a few months ago; however, instead of Made in America I was re-working Voice of the Heart, switching out songs for those that came later on Lovelines. So yeah, I like this set much better.

I actually found my list (on a little yellow sticky in my office).

I had, for Voice of the Heart:

Now
You're Enough
Where do I go From here
You're Baby
Two Lives

Ordinary Fool
Univited Guest
Kiss Me the Way You Did Last Night
You're the One
Look to You're Dreams

This is a fantastic idea! I just created the alternate playlist for my iPod, based on yours (I’ll have to "make believe it’s my first time" hearing these tracks from an alternate universe Made In America as well as R's&K’s overdubbed vocals on the unfinished tracks). Great lineup, although I’m replacing “Rainbow Connection” with “Somebody’s Been Lyin” and re-ordering:

1) Those Good Old Dreams
2) The Uninvited Guest*
3) Back In My Life Again
4) When You've Got What It Takes
5) Kiss Me The Way You Did Last Night
6) Touch Me When We’re Dancing
7) Beechwood 45789
8) At The End Of A Song*
9) Somebody’s Been Lyin'
10) When It’s Gone (great album play out)
