Apollo Brown, hip-hop artist, samples the Carpenters

Apollo Brown, a hip-hop artist whose album The Easy Truth was named one of the 50 best in 2016 by ABC News, is a self-avowed Carpenters fan. He sampled "We've Only Just Begun" on the cut "Spoils to the Victor". Earlier in his career he used a slowed-down version of "Crescent Noon" on "The Answer". Although I don't count myself as a hip-hop listener, I think it's noteworthy that an artist from that genre is paying homage to the Carpenters.

I`m with you and not really into hip-hop at all, but that was great, I really enjoyed that
