Before The 1st batch of TJB where released, it was stated that the release of the TJB catalog would be every 2 months. Just wondering what happened to "August Releases"? June 7, 2005 is slated for "Going Places", "What Now My Love", & "S.R.O.". October is slated for "The Christmas Album", "Sounds Like...", "Herb Alpert's Ninth", & "Beat of The Brass".

Before The 1st batch of TJB where released, it was stated that the release of the TJB catalog would be every 2 months. Just wondering what happened to "August Releases"? June 7, 2005 is slated for "Going Places", "What Now My Love", & "S.R.O.". October is slated for "The Christmas Album", "Sounds Like...", "Herb Alpert's Ninth", & "Beat of The Brass".
Well obviously, they decided to skip August and put those later releases out closer to the "holiday shopping season." In other words, either Herb Alpert or the Shout!Factory people changed their minds, which is perfectly within their rights. There is nothing so non-concrete as a record company release date. They're never set in stone until the actual week of release, and even then they are sometimes changed due to last minute problems.
In the big picture, what difference does it make? At least they're coming out, eh?
