Can you comment on My Abstract Heart

I have seen several used copies of My Abstract Heart for sale on Amazon, and I am thinking of making a purchase. I have read the discography and a few forum comments, but I would still like to hear more descriptions of the music, and what your favorite songs are. I saw comments about a "big band" influence, and that sounds encouraging.

It's the a jazz album for Herb. I played it once.

Some people really like this one, but it's near the bottom of my list along with just about everything else after KEEP YOUR EYE ON ME. I like the "pop" Herb better than the jazz Herb.

I like MY ABSTRACT HEART. It's a fun listen. You can't go wrong with an album that not only has Herb on trumpet, but among others both of the Findley brothers (Bob and Chuck), with a lot of the Shorty Rogers "sound".

The vocal duet with Herb and Lani is real nice, too.
