Carol Jeanne Rogers: last time she appeared on a recording!

Dear Mendes fans,

Is it true that Carol Rogers has retired from the Mendes organization?
It's a pity if thats a reality!

The last recording I've heard from Carol was on the motion Picture soundtrack BOSSA NOVA from the year 2000.
She sung, both in English and Portuegese the medley:
SUDDENLY/IT HAD TO BE WITH YOU in a duet with the great Brazilian singer/songwriter Djavan and the song SUDDENLY on her own in English.

The soundtrack is a mix of Jobims songs: by Jobim, Sting Elis REgina, Astrud Gilberto/ Joao Gilberto/ Stan Getz, and five new songs written by one of my Brazilians hero's the great Eumir Deodato.

Deodato payed arranged and composed and conducted the original music
score and what a wonderful recording it is. Released on Verve.

Sergio and Gracinha have confirmed that Carol has basically retired from the group. I believe it was Gracinha who told me Carol has gone into acting, though I haven't seen her appear in anything as yet. She also sings with a local Los Angeles singing group as "Mama O" -- a moniker she has used for years, apart from Mendes.
