That separates the big boys from the wannabes. I would wager to say that no one on the top 40 or even top 100 for that matter will ever achieve this level of success. Not 40 years from now. They did and still represent the best in popular music!!!

Interesting how "Ticket to Ride","Passage" and "Made in America", like before 1998, are unavailable.

Let's keep in mind that, while not all titles are available on CD, almost everything is still available for purchase in the U.S. Ticket to Ride, Passage, Made in America, even The Singles: 1969-1973 and all three of the solo albums are available for purchase in the U.S.

They're just not available on CD.

You can download each and every one of these from places like the iTunes store and Amazon. While many don't like digital downloads (myself included), the fact is that it's nothing more than a format change, not a removal from being "in print."
