CD sets in a tin

The current crop of "Collectors Tins" are being produced by Madacy, a Canadian outfit that specializes in relicensing product from other studios/companies and offering them typically at bargain prices.
We were all surprised that Herb Alpert and Shout! would license their stuff to Madacy, but apparently they were happy with the Collectors Tin approach.
Recall that Universal DID release a 3-CD package for Carpenters called CHRONICLES - 3 CLASSIC ALBUMS. The contents are albums 2,3,and 4 from Carpenters, packed in a longbox-shaped digipak package, with the three sets of liner notes tucked away in the fourth "compartment.
Other than the outer package itself, there was nothing new about the CHRONICLES set. With the Madacy Alpert tin, there is at least a new booklet with some newish pictures and text.
