Coke and a Song

While in a store today, I spotted a bunch of Coca-Cola product with a portion of a song lyric printed on it. I saw this one:

...and after looking more closely, decided that it unfortunately had nothing to do with the famous Carpenters song. It was missing a "the" - so I'll blame all of the people who've incorrectly added a "The" to Carpenters all these years.

It looks like it's meant to be the Carpenters' song because it's parenthesized by musical notes. But yeah, the missing "the" is the first thing I spotted too

I would dare say there are probably dozens of songs with that lyric in them. But my bet is, they're quoting the lyrics from "I'm on Top of the World" by Imagine Dragons. (from 2012)

I'm sure you're right about that. My delusions that Coke could be giving tribute to Carpenters lasted just a few fleeting seconds as I stood there in the store looking at the other songs represented - all of recent origin.

Harry, you could instill your photoshop skills (which are very good by the way) and put that black space to good use there's room to add "the"

Nice!! Now it only needs the Carpenters logo right above the Coca-Cola tilted to match the music lyric (hey there's even space too) and you got yourself a collectors can. I'd buy it.
