COMING SOON FROM UNIVERSAL.....

You have them ALL
– The Singles 1969-1973, The Singles 1974-1978, The Singles 1969-1981, GOLD, Love Songs, GOLD 35th Anniversary Edition, The Carpenters Collection, The Essential Collection, The Ultimate Collection, The Christmas Collection, The Classics Collection, The Dutch Singles Collection, The Japanese Singles Collection, The Readers Digest Collection,The Karaoke Collection and on and on and on....

But now Universal's U-NUTS division has dared to do what no other division has ever done before. U-NUTS has thoroughly combed the Carpenters entire back catalog (well, except for the albums they don't own that is....) to bring you a unique collection - Carpenters Pit Stops: The Greatest Lost Spaces Between Songs.

This special collector's edition has all the lost spaces from Karen And Richard’s classic albums. Starting with the 1969 lost space between Your Wonderful Parade and Someday and ending with the 1981 lost space between (Want You) Back In My Life Again and When You’ve Got What It Takes. PIT STOPS is a complete overview of the best albums of the Carpenters career. Even includes the Ultra-rare hard to find missing spaces from the "Oldies Medley" from the Now & Then sessions!

It gets better!!!!

U-NUTS promotional department describes the album cover as "unique clear" and has announced the first 500 copies will be autographed by a carpenter in indellible ink!!

True collectors, Remix Fans and Completest alike will really appreciate the special bonus disk featuring a number of previously unreleased spaces, such as the lost space between Road Ode and A Song For You (Reprise) from the A Song For You recording sessions. Or even the lost space between On The Balcony Of The Casa Rosada and Don’t Cry For Me Argentina from the Passage sessions. A truly rare find is the original album version of the space between Love Is Surrender and Maybe It's You from the Close To You master tapes! Those spaces have never left the vault until now!

Look for this album to hit stores........ never I hope! LOL

Note to Universal (or any other label who might see this): This page is a joke and is NOT intended to give you any ideas.....

(this joke was completely and totally ripped off, plagiarized with the names changed to protect the guilty ...with gracious permission...from the Superb web-mistress at donna-tribute.com thanks Cathy!)

How about a bonus disc featuring all the "edited out bits" from single versions etc? The piano intro edited from Ticket to Ride, the piano from I Need to Be in Love and let's not forget all the parts that were edited out to make "Occupants" an acceptable-length single. The last few seconds of "Only Yesterday" were also sadly missed on the single as well.

And a couple of related products: The complete catalog of previously unreleased tunes by Herb "Albert" and Sergio "Mendez!"

And don't forget Karen's "breath" before the first lyric on Goodbye To Love that Richard edited out on some versions! We could have a 3rd disc! Come On U-NUTS!! :) Any other suggestions?? :)
