Cosima DeVito (sounds like Karen on low notes)

A friend of mine played the song When The War Is Over by Cosima DeVito for me the other day and I noticed something.

She has a nice voice, but her low notes remind me a lot of Karen's. In fact I thought Karen was taking over in some spots!

Not sure if she's available on iTunes or not, but you might want to go check her out! She's got an easy sound you'd probably like.

I wish more people would mention artists that remind them of Karen. I have never heard of Cosima DeVito, but after listening to samples at her website, I certainly want to hear more! I'm always looking for somebody new to admire! Of course, nobody will ever take my number one spot......

no wonder.....according to Wikipedia, "She cited Whitney Houston, Shirley Bassey, Tina Turner and Karen Carpenter as being major influences on her personal style."

Here is the YouTube video of the song I was talking about 2 years ago. Just listen at the 0:27 mark. It's the closest sound I've heard to Karen's voice since Akiko.
