I just received my January issue of DownBeat magazine, and Herb has a full page feature on page 96, talking a bit about his career, the new Human Nature album, and most notably the $10.1 million contribution the the Los Angeles Community College music program from his Foundation. DB has an entire section called "Jazz School", dealing with Jazz Education, schools and various instrument woodsheds, and this was included in it. Very nice feature for Herb!
