The other day, I listened to "And When He Smiles" for the first time in a long time.
During the instrumental, laughter sound effects can be heard.
It occurred to me that these are very similar to what we hear in the later studio recording of "Jambalaya (On the Bayou)".
Does anyone know the story behind this laughter? Was it Karen, Richard, one of the fellows in the band? (Maybe it was Agnes backstage!)
The strange thing is: "And When He Smiles" was recorded live, right? Yet "Jambalaya" was a studio recording. So it's odd to have laughter from a live performance being used later in a studio recording.
Perhaps it is different laughter, but it does sound very similar.
