I'm glad I found this site....
I grew up in San Antonio Texas and in 1968 we had the HEMISFAIR.
It was the expo/world's fair for that year. Before that not many artists or groups would include SA on their stops. The HemisFair changed all that and I was fortunate to see The BAJA MARIMBA BAND, TIJUANA BRASS AND SERGIO MENDES & BRASIL 66 all performing at the fair.
TBMB were fantastic that night..they were on the same stage with JACK BENNY. I remember their rendition of THE LOOK OF LOVE..it was fantastic. My question ..why is BRASILIA always seems missing in any CD releases...?

Hi Astronut. Welcome to the Corner!

Many of us have wondered why "Brasilia" wasn't included on any of the BMB discs. It's probably one of my favorite tunes penned by Julius. Hopefully, there'll be a day when a more throrough compilation will be released. Until then you can always do what many of us do - make our own CD-Rs.
