Merry Christmas Darling used in Hallmark TV film: A Heavenly Christmas

I wanted to let you know that Merry Christmas Darling is used in the TV Hallmark Hall of Fame movie: A Heavenly Christmas. The film stars Kristin Davis. It is on the Hallmark Channel. It was very nice to hear the song as the main character is remembering the past.

Thanks David I saw it too, they did a really nice job of editing the song as well. That was completely unexpected, has this song ever appeared before in a Christmas movie? So nice to hear Karen 's voice.

Watched the Movie last night on the Hallmark Channel.
Love Shirley Maclaine .
Eric Mccormack was a good choice, too.

The edit for the Carpenters' 1970 Merry Christmas Darling
was very well done and made a nice fit for this movie.
And, it took me back to the first time I heard that 1970 version,
which still resonates with me--it is such a powerful vocal by Karen.
As much as I love the 1978 version, the 1970 version will remain my favorite !
