New Carpenters DVD

Word is that Universal plans to follow the release in the UK of the new compilation with a DVD of three of the Carpenters BBC concerts. It's supposed to come out in Feb. '07.

In the UK it'll likely be PAL and/or Region 2, unless they plan to market it worldwide.

Is this gonna be like the Live at the Palladium DVD rumour from about a year ago? Would love to see Carpenters Videos released on DVD but everything seems to be a rumour with little actually happening! .....

The three that immediately come to mind are 1971 (Special), 1974 (Talk of the Town) and 1976 (New London Theater). It is my understanding that the "Palladium" video footage is actually New London Theater around the same time... that they DIDN'T tape the Palladium professionally, but I may be wrong.

I received this word, too, I am still cautious whether or not this is true or not. We will see.
