Pablo Cruise "Runnin'" & another soundalike?

I just hear Eric Carmen "Run Away" (from late 1977 "Boats Against The Current" on Arista) which I do not have but I bought "The Essential" which I heard "Run Away" for the first time which runs 8 minutes which I bought last week!! That song reminds me at the beginning of the song of Pablo Cruise "Runnin'" (from 1978 "Worlds Away") which I first heard when I got the 8 track tape during Christmas of 1978, then later on CD which I bought back in 1989.
