I heard Paul Williams on Gilbert Gottfried's podcast recently. He made brief mention of The Carpenters and talked a bit more about "Rainbow Connection".
But, it's kind of crude so I'd warn you if you were to listen to that one. Lol

Did Richard's solo work fall so far under the radar that Paul doesn't know there was production work done by Richard with other vocalists?
