It was either 2003 or 2004 in downtown Nashville, TN at the Loew's Hotel. John Pisano was hosting his own guitar night with wife, Jeanne on vocals and a few other local musicians. He was there promoting Eastman Guitars during the summer NAMM show held at the Nashville Convention Center. Eastman Guitars has a few "John Pisano" models for sale & they are really beautiful guitars!! As the story goes, John went to a winter NAMM show in Anaheim, played a few Eastman Guitars, and purchased one the spot during the show. My husband Rob & I came to see them perform. WOW! What a performance they gave. John is such an exceptional guitarist & Jeanne can sing just about any jazz composition written! In fact, during their break, I had John sign my Les Paul guitar & told them they have to come to Nashville more often. (Unfortunately, they haven't). It was just great hearing both of them together in a small intimate setting. Hope to see them again someday, I'm sure I won't be disappointed.
