Though it gets played regularly on our WPEN AM nostalgia station, Sergio Mendes & Brasil '66's version of "Fool On The Hill" will be getting a spin this week on the Sunday Breakfast With The Beatles program on WMGK, Philly's Classic Rock station, 102.9 FM.
I just spoke with Andre Gardner, host of the program, who informs me that it'll air as a Beatles cover tune at approximately 10:30 AM. It'll be the first Sergio recording played on WMGK since the early 90s when "Never Gonna Let You Go" aired regularly when we were a soft-rock station.
