I was again struck when listening to Elis' 20 Anos compilation this morning how many songs from the Brasil '66 and '77 songbook were first recorded by the chanteuse. In fact listening to the first CD especially is like taking a Twilight Zone trip through alternate versions of "Sergio" songs.
