A sincere form of flattery is to be sampled or spoofed on the TV show The Simpsons. That is exactly what happened on last night's (March 6) episode, when a nice rendition of Tijuana Taxi was heard, sounding almost like the real TJB. Blue-haired Marge Simpson played the trumpet. (Wonder who made the actual recording; the credits at the end of this show fly by at subliminal message speed.) The song was heard during times the family was celebrating something. That alone says something about the mood of TJB music - Tijuana BLISS!
