"Rough translation" - you're not kidding! But it looks like another collection somewhat similar to the Rhino multi-artist set from a few years back (a 2-disk version this time). What's not clear is how many of the tracks are from Burt's A&M albums. It appears they've included quite a few of his "solo" songs as opposed to the original artist versions. But, hard to tell for sure.

I never even knew that The Pointer Sisters covered ' Wanting Things '(track 28) and 'The Things I Will Not Miss'(track 29 ) was covered by Diana Ross and Marvin Gaye.

Has anyone here ever heard there versions?

This set looks like it might be an interesting one at that.

Here is the track list. Some positively weird choices here..."Raindrops" by the Four Tops?! There's also a Pisano and Ruff track! I'm surprised at some of the artist choices...wonder why HA's version of "This Guy" wasn't included. Notice also the conspicuous absence of Dionne Warwick.

Also "A House Is Not A Home" by "Eivets Rednow" - That's Stevie Wonder, of course.

Undoubtedly royalty cost played a big part in programming this set.
