Ventures Guitarist & Co-Founder BOB BOGLE Dies at 75

Hello Mr. Bill...I've been here, just not HERE.
I'm very surprised that you remember -- or thought of -- me. I often wonder if my participation here might have been greater if not for my divorce in '99...But moving back to the west coast brought me closer to The Ventures and my time for some years got taken up by them, especially with Nokie Edwards, who, until recently lived only 2 hours away.
With Bob's passing, The (original) Ventures are down to just Don Wilson and occasionally Nokie. Even us closer fans were unaware of just how sick Bob was, that he had been diagnosed 12 years ago. He was ill even 6 years ago when we had the Surfin' To Baja Cruise to Mexico...
At least we got them inducted into the Rock Hall of Fame before he died. And now they're wrapping up their 50th Anniversary tour in Japan.
