Dennis Greaves later went on to lead I.R.S. act The Truth. He often works with the two leaders of another recent AOTW, Squeeze's Chris Difford and Glenn Tilbrook...

Was this a particularly active time for British acts on A&M? I know all eyes were on the UK at this point in pop music with New Wave taking over and all, but it sure seems like a ton of English artists (most of which I'm not familiar with) were showing up on the label....

I think so. With the whole punk/new wave thing happening (which started in the UK) it was natural. Squeeze, Joe Jackson and The Police seemed to spearhead it for A&M. By 1983/84 there was a similar push toward Australian music with (non A&M act) Men At Work and A&M's Split Enz. A&M even created an imprint called OZ Records. The imprint fizzled when the Australian music boon never materialised as predicted.

Vegemite. I tried it when I was in Australia. :thmbdn: The closest thing I can think of to describe the taste is: earwax...

Saw it on the store shelves in Australia, but wasn't tempted in the least to try it.
