My wife picked up the new Bebel Gilberto CD for me, and I was sort of shocked to hear her covering "The Real Thing." I love Bebel, but she just doesn't have the funkiness of Carol to interpret this song very well, IMHO. She also does a passable version of Bim Bom, of course more up her alley, both musically and family-wise.
