(I know as a kid we drove past these addresses numerous times in the late '60s / early '70s...; however, understanding the significance of these LA-area studios would not become a widespread topic until the 1990s when the new crop of music writers began focusing on historical / archival issues of 1950s-1970s recording legacy.)
